This workshop concentrates on the content side of the TIK radioshows. With the devices we've built in the first workshop in February, we are actually going to record and in the end produce a radioshow, that will be broadcasted into the radia network. As for content, we will go into several questions of time in social context and time in artworks, as well as interesting approaches like Verena Kunis TimeBendingClock idea*. We will also tackle topics like historical re-enactments and their relationship to so-called pirate radios.
A public evening with lectures and presentations as well as the public hearing of our produced radio output close the event.
*V: My idea for the workshop days is to start with local research for EcoTimeZons/TBC mechanisms at place. Next step will be to document these, and to muse about possible sonifications and/or other connections to the network.
a list of things to bring
paper pencils (could we get some BIG paper and BIG pencils at place?)
local call for people to bring their analog and defunct clocks (analog clocks should sport tikkkkks!!!!!)
computer
sound recording devices
cameras (photo, video)
maps
gps devices
